My brother has been on pretty good behavior lately

But i'm using food as a reward for his good behavior

Today it is pouring the rain

And i'm not going to lie.I'm hurting

I cooked like I promised I would

I was going to make fried chicken in the cast.Iron skillet with the lard and the whole deal

But I hate frying chicken

It is crazy.It is nasty.It tastes delicious but it is a lot of work

So I cheated and made oven fried chicken

This is the first time i've ever made it

And it was delicious and the crust that was on.It was delicious

It just didn't stay on

I made homemade potato salad

And some baked beans in the oven

I made him chili a while back

Which is one of his favorite meals

But I used three and a half pounds of ground.Chuck

three 8 ounce cans of beans

Sixteen ounces of tomatoes

Plus tomato juice and the other stuff

This was a huge pot of chili

Well, he ate three quarters of that in one day

I am on a limited income
