Stress from my job is getting me down this week.
Even now, as I sit here typing this, every fiber of my being is wanting to just pack up my hobo stick and disappear off into the horizon...
Ugh
I just don't think I'd make a very good vagrant...
My pillows weren't just right last night and I woke up barely able to move this morning.
Yah, something tells me sleeping in a cardboard box on a sidewalk somewhere might be a lil bit more than I could handle.
Looks like I'll be heading off to work today... Once again... To lose my mind by 11am and renew my hatred of people in general.

My blood pressure spikes everytime I have to go to the office. The people are nice and there's little stress, but the thought of having to get dressed and ride the train is stressful

I get that way too and I work from HOME! That's when I "invest" in more powerball tickets.

I am so glad, I no longer work in an office environment! Instead, I can be with 10-12,000 strangers!
The day I can retire will be the best day of my life, I swear. To be able to just, exist. Maybe then I will stop hating people, in general.
@secret_lade I became a product of ‘downsizing’ from my career corporate job. A condition of my severance was that I had to retire…I did a lot of volunteer work and pivoted to working for an event staffing company, hence the interaction with 1000s of strangers.

It actually was better... Not great, but definitely better.
I was just thinking, I don't want to go to work today. Sigh. Seeing how you went to work, I will too. One day at a time, eventually turns into a week, then a month and finally the year can be over.
