It's been a minute since I've been here.... On the Community side, anyway.
For years, I've spent the majority of my time on the Community side.
Blogging , communicating with those I'd come to know as friends....
Sadly, one by one, the majority of those friends had disappeared. Fewer blogs to read, fewer messages and comments from those friends, fewer reasons for me to be in the Community.
So....
I found myself tiptoeing into the depths of the dating side.
Like everyone else on here, I'd been there.
I'd skimmed the water.... Choosing to take that occasional plunge to meet in person, not really having the best results, but still half heartedly trying.
Earlier this year, though, I decided I was going to give it an earnest attempt.
Was I going to find what I was looking for?
Probably not....
What was I gong to find??
I wasn't quite sure.....
Was I going to regret my choices???
Probably....
What have I found so far????
A hot mess.
And, a few good tales to tell.
I'd considered keeping all my experiences to myself.... I don't even know that anybody still hangs out here, in blogland, but, part of me is screaming out to write.
Who knows....
Maybe there is someone else out there, just like me, stumbling through the madness, wondering....
Am I the only one?
I'm here to say, you are not alone.

Perhaps my tales of first meets, lofty expectations, and erectile dysfunction can put a smile on your face and give you courage to keep moving forward.

Oh, so that's where you went. I was wondering if it were the cats or the turkeys that got ya. Sounds kinda like a gang story there (the alley cats vs the young turks).
I always look forward to reading your tales. Did you say ED? Oh my. I've had play partners complain about not "satisfying" me, even after they have had several. I should write about the times I have here in Sin City.
Anyways, I'm glad that you are ok. Please do share and the lot of us will cheer you on.
The past 6 months have been interesting.... Some of it has been outlandish, some of it has hurt my feelings, some of it has been good. It reminds me of the days when I first started out on here, and I was a lot more active in meeting. Not much changes. LOL

@iwant2lickuthere I first joined this site in 2009, I think. I blogged back then too. I had started to see someone regularly, and stopped frequenting the site, and enough time had passed that my profile and blog went inactive, so I kind of lost all that. This is my original screen name, though. Right from the very start.

@pagancountrygirl True that, Pagan. What I've been encountering are men "of a certain age" who have been sexless for a while and don't realize that hard enough to masturbate is not always hard enough to penetrate.
