Being that I'm retired, every day is a weekend for me. I now do what I want, when I want, how I want daily. Put my time in at working for a living, now Enjoy every day living life to the max. Every day I wake up now is a good day to enjoy as I please.

My ideal weekends have been trips to meet sexy female blogger friends. They all went well, and in TWO cases things went so well we extended the weekend by as much as work schedules would allow.

An ideal weekend has a lot packed into it. I want a sporting event of some sort. OU Softball. Kentucky Derby. A football game. On tv please. Yummy food. Family and friends. Then the other day a drive to hike mountains or river. Maybe some quiet fishing. I need the balance of fun and peace

Oh wow, that's a good question, my mind went in different directions.
one ideal weekend consists of going to Laguna Seca to watch some racing, Indycar, IMSA, motorcycle, it doesn't matter. I want to take my cameras and take some photos, have some good food with beer and just enjoy myself.
another ideal weekend is being with one of my FWB and having lunch, go out about for a bit, go back to the hotel and enjoy each other. take a shower together, then go to dinner. come back and play some more.
both of those weekends are good, but I am leaning more towards my fwb.

My ideal weekend honestly I don't have one anymore. But I wish hubby was able to enjoy the things we used to like going out dancing and doing karaoke we used to have so much fun, that's how we met.

A quiet time with son away at his girlfriends and my wife knowing who I am and well enough to enjoy some time together.

I meant time with my wife on our own if she is aware enough as her disabilty and meds means she has days when she doesn't know who I am.
@OlderPete58 I am sorry Mr. Pete that's got to be hard. I know what your dealing with as my grandfather had Alzheimers.

That my Dad is able to at least go for walks agin on Stautdays, like he always did my friend..

The best weekends are the simple ones, a few things accomplished, some time outside, and enough quiet to feel like I have actually stepped out of the weekday rhythm. Cool drinks and good company is the combination that always feels right.
